The Park improvments where due to be completed in Febuary/ March of this year, however there has been a delay in the start of the work.
The following is an update supplied by Sarah Johnson TVBC :
Improvements to Phoenix Park will begin on Tuesday 26th April and take approximately 10 weeks. The works will include the installation of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), seating, skate facilities, picnic benches, goalposts and mounding. Meadow flower seeds will also be sown in April. Trees and the ‘edible edge’ will be planted next winter.
