Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving three vehicles on the Tesco roundabout in Andover at around 7.40pm Friday, March 23.

Officers believe the collision involved two cars and a van.  One of the vehicles is believed to have been an Audi, and the van was a Ford Transit, in either blue or green. Both the Audi and the van failed to stop and remain at the scene.

The other vehicle, a Vauxhall Zafira, driven by a local woman, sustained damage.  The driver and her young son, who was a passenger, were uninjured.

PC Paul White, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who saw any of the vehicles prior to or after the collision.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal to the drivers of the vehicles which failed to stop to come forward as they may not have been aware that a collision had actually taken place.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC White at Whitchurch Police Station on 101 or via the website www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/contact/message_officer.htm

You can also call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.

Minicom users should call 01962 875000.
