Residents Meeting January 11th 2010

Due to the adverse weather conditions, the residents meeting had a poor attendance, however I must commend the residents that did take time to show their interest.

Further issuses where raised by the residents, which they are concerned with.

They are as follows:

• The lack of lighting in and around the garage areas
• No dropped kirbs to enable disabled persons easy access in and around the estates
• A damaged barrier at the Swallow end of Pilgrims Way (this was caused by a refuge vehicle reversing in that area)

These issuses have been noted by our Test Way representative Hollie Thompson, who was in attendance. Hollie gave an excellent speech and was glad to be part of our meeting, she also informed us that the parking problelms on both estates are being looked into..

Hollie has also put maps of the estates up at the Phoenix Centre, this will enable you to contact the correct department with your problems.

Once again no Councillors were in attendance as they had other commitments, although Cllr Mick Mcgarry was close by if he was needed.

The next residents meeting will be in May 2010 date and time to be confirmed.
