Swallow Match Report 25th October

Swallow lost to Hurstbourne for the second time in just 2 weeks with Hurstbourne taking the lead early on from a defensive error.

Swallow were soon on level terms with a strike inside the box from Phil Robins after good work from Redmond Hutchins.

Another defensive error let in Hurstbourne again before Steve Leighton played a ball to Redmond who`s strike found the net from 25yrds and then against the run of play Hurstbourne went in at the break 2-3 to the good.

Early in the second half Hurstbourne found more space as Swallow were pushing forward and caught on the counter making it 2-4 with almost 30 mins to go.

Swallow started to dominate the game missing a brace of chances right infront of the Hustbourne goal until Jay Elliots corner found Phil Robins to head home.

Swallow continued to dominate but just could`nt find the net missing again from close range and against the run of play Hustbourne won the tie with a fine goal from there winger.
